I had the pleasure to stop in here in Sunday 1-26-25 to have their breakfast. Mind you this was my very first time here. They open at 7am and if your not there right when they open there will be a little bit of a wait. Just a heads up! Butt well worth the wait I PROMISE! This is definitely a true Farm To Table Restaurant. The experience was immaculate! Great Staff! Welcoming atmosphere! Family Owned! Locally Sourced! This was the best skillet I ever had to date period. The freshness and pure flavor was a bonus and a hit. A great breakfast made with the freshest ingredients all from Wisconsin. Eggs, bacon, orange juice, potatoes, and so much more all bought and processed right here in Wisconsin. Looking for a great Breakfast spot this place is a must try! Make them your next visit. The little hidden places also known as hole in the wall places are always the best. This place prove no different. Food was fantastic service was also fantastic. They were very busy which is excellent to see. When we got there we waited about 10 minutes and then got a place at the counter. Definitely worth the place to go for breakfast. They ha e home-made bread.... yum.
I was coming through town on my way to go get hand surgery in Milwaukee and was aleays wanting to stop so I finally got the chance. The service was really really good and very well priced the service was absolutely amazing not once did I ever have to ask for anything they asked me. Everyone was simply in to either socialize or read there morning paper but the only reason the atmosphere is getting one star is due to one guy (mind you he was older) however at one point he turned around and just stared at a group of young men in to have breakfast with one another, stared at me for quite some time. Many times I looked to my right while eating and there he was just gawking at me like I said I understand he was older but damn man at least say something or make conversation just staring while people are having their breakfast is disrespectful as all get out...
D&G Restaurant was so good that I remembered to get a picture after I ate all of my food. Both my and my friends' food were nice portions of food. Very delicious and made from scratch. The atmosphere was simple and cozy like being at your grandma's for breakfast. The coffee is very good as well. This is a must-try place if you want a nice simple dinner that specializes in making amazing food.
First time visiting and my wife and I dine out several times a week. We are foodies. This restaurant will now be a frequent visit and one of our favorites. I absolutely loved our food and service. I’m picky about homemade food and everything we had was like being home...delicious! As I write this I’m at home enjoying a homemade rhubarb pie I brought home....i love it! My dad owned a bakery and an excellent baker, and he would be proud of this pie.
My buddies and I came to Wisconsin for the nfl draft, thankfully 1 of my pals loves to go picking and he found this amazing little restaurant. Great people amazing service. The home made white bread is so delicious, the biscuits and grave are to die for. My buddy ordered the steak and eggs and he said it was delicious. We fell in love with this place that 3 days in a row we drove 30 minutes back to D&G restaurant for breakfast. 100% recommend this place. Can't wait to come back to visit and eat here again
Pies and Soups galore. Came for breakfast and the homemade bread is fantastic. I had the BELT and had a few bites of the farmers skillet that were good. Can't wait to come back and try some soup and pie. Free milk and free ice cream with pie.
Love this place! Simple diner menu, very good and really good prices. One of my favorites. I did not have today but I love their blueberry pancakes. Free glass of white or chocolate milk or a scoop of ice cream with your meal!
